Greater Toronto Workers' Assembly

The GTWA holds monthly general membership meetings in order to discuss politics and plan our work. Members are encouraged to attend and take part. Supporters and observers are welcome.

Location: Beit Zatoun House 612 Markham St. (Off of Bloor just west of Bathurst.)

6:15 - Pre-meeting: New members and perspective members are welcome to attend early for a GTWA orientation and Q&A session. Committees are welcome to attend early and use the space for organizing as well.
 
7:00pm - Meeting opens
 
What's going on?: The State's "austerity" offensive: Ford/McGuinty/Harper. The employer offensive: public and private
 
What can we do?: The priorities of the GTWA given our capacity.
